When Heaven Called, Faith Answered
1995 — The Vision:
It wasn't an idea. It wasn't a plan. It was a divine revelation. In 1995, God placed an unmistakable vision in the heart of Dorquis Díaz — a calling so clear, so powerful, that it could not be ignored. This was to be a ministry unlike any other: a refuge for the suffering, a beacon for the lost, and a movement of radical love under the mantle of Mary Help of Christians.
1998 — Taking Form:
Three years of prayer, discernment, and obedience led to 1998 — the year the vision began to take earthly form. What started as intimate prayer gatherings in New Jersey evolved into purposeful action. Hearts were united. Resources were gathered. The blueprint for what would become Fundación María Auxiliadora was being written — not by human hands alone, but by the Holy Spirit Himself.
2003 — Heaven Meets Earth:
On that sacred day in 2003, the spiritual became legal. Fundación María Auxiliadora Inc. was officially established as a nonprofit organization — but this was far more than paperwork. It was the moment when a divine calling became an eternal mission. What God ordained in 1995, what faithful servants nurtured in 1998, was now a living, breathing force for transformation.
Today — The Mission Continues:
More than three decades after that first vision, we serve thousands across the United States and Latin America through seven active divisions. We feed the hungry. We shelter the homeless. We broadcast prayer 24/7. We publish inspired words. We create transformative media. We mentor the young. We house the displaced.
"What began as a whisper from heaven in 1995 has become a roar of hope, faith, and love that echoes across nations. This is not our work — this is God's masterpiece, and we are honored to be His instruments."
